These terms apply to your use of the RealLook website and service. RealLook is operated under ABN 69 382 082 977 ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting a RealLook, you agree to these terms.

1. What RealLook is — and isn't

RealLook sends a local person to capture honest video, photos and practical observations of a property, auction, rental or other listing, so you can decide whether it's worth pursuing.

RealLook is not a building, pest, structural, legal, financial or valuation service. Our footage and notes are practical observations only — they are not professional advice or a formal inspection. For professional assessments, engage a licensed inspector or adviser. You rely on our footage and observations at your own discretion.

2. Requests, availability and bookings

Submitting a request is not a confirmed booking. We'll check whether a local can attend and confirm availability. If we can cover it, we'll send you a secure payment link. Work begins only after payment is confirmed.

3. Payments

Prices are in Australian dollars and shown on our website or in your payment link. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

4. Cancellations and refunds

If we are unable to fulfil your request after payment, we'll refund you in full. If you cancel before we've carried out the RealLook, contact us as soon as possible and we'll work out a fair refund for any work not yet done. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Lawful and appropriate capture

We only capture footage where it is lawful and appropriate. No trespassing, no hidden filming, and we avoid filming people's faces. We may decline or stop a request that cannot be carried out lawfully or safely.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to give us accurate information and to use RealLook for lawful purposes only. Footage we provide is for your personal use in making your own decision; please don't republish it in a misleading way.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on our footage or observations, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for that RealLook. Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded still apply.

8. Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.
